With your support, Calgary Health Foundation is investing in breakthroughs in continuing care communities, to ensure more firsts in continuous care in Southern Alberta.

The newest Carewest facility, Bridgeland Riverside Continuing Care Centre (BRCC), opening Spring 2026, will cater to complex mental health patients, and, thanks to community members like you, will lead the way in community-focused programming! This initiative will see the creation of home-like spaces to support the overall quality of life of residents. It will also enhance resident engagement through innovative programming that addresses the critical needs of wellness and mental health. These initiatives will improve mood, decrease feelings of isolation, and contribute to overall well-being. When residents are engaged in meaningful activities, the risk of rehospitalization decreases.
